Hooray!

October 24, 2011 Update:

Things have been going great over at Sanzaru Games, and Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time is looking great! Having tons of fun animating some really interesting characters. Animation-wise, I have been feeling inspired... so much so that I have been animating at home on personal projects. Check out my latest... it's short, but it incorporates matchmoving, compositing and animation. And of course, it's in glorious HD 1080p. Heavy Landing - A very short animation

June 27, 2011 Update:

Alice Madness Returns released on June 14. Reviews have settled in at an average 7.0 which is understandable. Anyways, during my recent playthrough, I captured much of my work from the game and it came in around 45 minutes. Sooo, I took the best parts and made a 4 minute animation reel for your viewing pleasure. So go watch my animation as well as my role as the Carpenter on youtube in glorious HD 1080p! HERE!

May 6, 2011 Update:

Upon returning to the States, I was pleasantly greeted by a few job offers, thanks to friends in the industry. Networking works, who knew? I have decided to take an offer from a company called Sanzaru Games. Today was my first day and I am very happy with the team and company. I'm very excited to see what we can create in the next year. The project is unannounced so I cannot say much, but it will be revealed at E3 this year. I will say it should be a very fun game to animate! :) Thanks for stopping by... I should have some Alice animations/compilations up not too long after Alice Madness Returns ships on June 14, 2011.

February 20, 2011 Update:

Sorry for the lack of updates this past year, I've been hard at work on Alice Madness Returns. I ended up being in charge of all 3D cinematics in the game... all 40+ story cinematics, not to mention enemy intros and other in-game events. With all that responsibility, I learned a ton and had a blast doing it. I've got quite a few demo reel shots that I can not wait to share once the game ships. (No release date yet, but should be announced soon.) A fantastic year, all in all, and Shanghai, China has been amazing. It seems my time here is about to end though. Spicy Horse is heading in a direction that is simply not right for me and my skills, so I have decided to head back home to the States. I'm open to going wherever life takes me. Looking for an experienced animator? Send me an e-mail. ;)

May 16, 2010 Update:

So... I moved to Shanghai, China! I have been hired at Spicy Horse Games to work on Alice: Madness Returns... sequel to one of my favorite games based on a very twisted and dark Alice in Wonderland. Not only is it an adventure to be able to live in a different country for a bit, but also a chance to work on one of my dream projects.

March 08, 2010 Update:

Added a new clip of some of my Spiderbot animations... it's what I was working on just before Luxoflux closed, originally for the Transformers 3 Demo. Viewable in the Animation Section. Enjoy!

Feb 16, 2010 Update:

With the closing of Luxoflux, I have spent the last couple days gathering the work I did on Kung Fu Panda and Transformers 2 video games. I probably have around 20 minutes worth of Cinematics, but don't worry, I've only taken my favorites and created a much more up to date demo reel, which is a nice and manageable 2 minutes long! Viewable in the Animation Section. Enjoy!

Feb 11, 2010 Update:

Sadly, Luxoflux has closed its doors today. Such a shame, we had such an amazing team and one rockin' Tranformers 3 demo! But perhaps it was time to move on... onward and upward! :)

I've put up a compilation of Cinematics, QTEs and Animation I did for Kung Fu Panda. Check it out in the Animation section or for the surprisingly decent Youtube version, simply click HERE! Hoping to do the same with my Transformers 2 work soon.

May 10, 2009 Update:

Transformers 2, Revenge of the Fallen: The GAME, has wrapped! Game should release June 23, 2009. One day before the film hits theaters. Here is the NEW "Reveal" trailer that was just released. Lots of my work is shown. :)

February 13, 2009 Update:

Kung Fu Panda The Game was nominated for 'Best Animated Video Game' in The 36th Annual Annie Awards! I was lucky enough to attend the ceremony and just so happened... we WON! I found a video of our segment, click here: The 36th Annual Annie Awards (Best Animated Video Game) My name is mentioned in the acceptance speech!

September 15, 2008 Update:

Still at Luxoflux... Still character animating for a video game, but this time, it's giant robots... Transformers 2! We're already pretty far into production. Game releases Summer 2009, along with the movie. More updates will be coming...

Kung Fu Panda, the game, got great reviews with an average score of around 7.5/10.0. Superb for a supposed kids game.

November 7, 2007 Update:

I have been animating over at Luxoflux/Activision for a little over 1 year now. Character animating on the video game for Dreamwork's upcoming feature animated film, "Kung Fu Panda", set to release 2008. To see the first new trailer for the video game, (with lots of my work featured!) Click Here! :)

Proof that I love games:
